What comp picks are the Patriots potentially in line for in 2019:

Possible Losses:
Nate Solder (Giants 4 years 60 million, 3rd Rounder)
Malcolm Butler, (Titans 5 years 61 million 3rd Rounder)
Dion Lewis, (Titans 4/20 6th rounder (maybe a 6th)
Danny Amendola, (To Dolphins) 2/12 (5th)

Adrian Weddle,
Cameron Fleming

Potential Countervailing gains

Remember: players don't count on either side of the formula if they don't reach FA when the new league year starts tomorrow. Anyone who's already been released doesn't count, nor does anyone released after the league year starts.

Maybe we get lucky and lose all of these guys and get 4 picks.

I'd much rather keep Solder, Fleming and Burkhead and get 2-3 comp picks in 2019.

Good call for starting this thread! Thanks!

Burkhead resigned by the Patriots and removed from consideration

And at this point, with the Patriots down 4, they've maxed out the potential picks that could be gained unless they start signing qualified free agents. Jimmy G if he was not traded and instead signed as a qualified free agent would have easily qualified the Patriots for a 3rd rounder BUT at the cost of a lost 6th rounder. The trade value is effectively a 2018 mid-2nd (#43) and a 2019 6th (~#199) instead of 8 games in 2017 and a 2019 3rd (#97)
