EDIT: 100% basically

Reports have also been clarified that Sherman has been saying his goodbyes to his teammates already. Wouldn't be surprised if the news regarding a move for him is released by the end of the day.

Seahawks players ignite Sherman rumors with tweets

Who’s chauvvo Guerrero? And plz let this be true.

C'Mon man this is a football forum an not the WCW Chavo Guerrero??

Can the pats trade the seahawks the rights to malcolm butler at this point?

No! he's a Free Agent unless they Franchise him.

Sounds like he might be traded today.

That’s why I wanted to know whether the pats can trade the rights to Butler for Sherman. What if Butler agrees to sign a contract with Seattle between now and next Wednesday? I think the pats have the rights to butler for another week...

only for the means of negotiations, the opportunity to tag butler has come and gone, so butler is a free agent unless he decides of his own volition to resign with the team that caeser'd him.

Why would the Pats give away a free third round comp pick?

Why would Seattle trade anything for a player where they have zero leverage and that will just sit out the time until the 14th. No matter what, Butler cant be tagged anymore so he will hit FA if he wants to max his contract. He has zero incentives to sign a contract at this point.

He's coming to the Pats I just hope Rowe isn't involved in the trade but that or Cyrus Jones getting a change of scenery wouldn't shock me .

Oh man..Gillmore, Sherman, and Rowe.....topped with Chung/McCourty....with Jones/Jones/Bademosi coming on for the Dime........ could be real tough to throw on even without a pass rush....

One can only dream.....

Apparently, Sherman texted Josina Anderson to say that he has "no idea what (his teammates) are going on about".

If Sherman is released, he’s the most obvious FA addition since Brandon Lloyd. He’s tried to trade himself here for a year if other reports are accurate.

Lets enter the offseason with the best CB trio in the NFL.

Let's the just hope the the Eric Rowe and Cyrus Jones experiments have run their course.

Probably not much reason for Butler to want that anyways, may command more being on the open market. Seattle should probably focus on d line than corners anyways, that’s what they built their championship on.

He might be just saying that for his sake, who knows though
