Goodbye to dancing bear Branch aka Uncle Phil

Disappointed in the sudden downfall of Branch. That, along with the surprise retirement of Nink sure as hell didn’t help things with the line last year. As far as Britt, my feeling is “Meh.” Obviously I’m hoping for a career resurrecting performance from him, but I haven’t seen anything to make me feel like that’s gonna happen here. He is a really great insurance policy though and has gotta be better than turning to some rookie UDFA. Oh, and he’s pretty damn cheap, which is great!

Disappointed in the sudden downfall of Branch...
Disappointed yes, surprised no...his lack of conditioning/motivation has been an issue
throughout his now-ended career.
Bill needs to get serious and find a real starting-caliber DT to pair with Malcolm Brown,
through free agency and/or the draft and/or post-draft.

Branch was more useful than not in the Patriot's legacy ... good luck to him in the next phases of his life.

Disappointed, but not surprised. Look at his two year performance and we got a bargain. Big shoes [ha ha ] to fill, but he was a underachiever to start. thanks for the couple years you played to potential.

Poe!
One can hope.

I've thought about that. If Poe gets a deal does he stay motivated? He's had weight clauses added to his contract in the past but that could mean nothing. But yeah he's a stud.

As previously mentioned here, Poe is a good option but I think he'll be too much money. Also, Lotulelei? A solid starter is all we can ask for.

So just like Uncle Phil... Branch is dead to them.;):p

Thanks for your time here, Branch. Much appreciated....hope you land somewhere else.
