The trite old saying holds some truth: a picture is often worth quite a few words. So let's create our own resource of short (5 - 25 second) clips of players. Let's keep the text to a minimum, unless we're describing the gif briefly so that others can search for it more easily.

Example: "Kemoko Turay" and "LB wheel route coverage" would work for the first and third of these plays. Ignore the second play (I didn't have time to cut it out of the clip), but watch how comfortable Turay is in coverage as a big LB:

SB measurements: Kemoko Turay OLB Rutgers 6043 252 9 3/8 33 5/8 79 3/4

What do you use to create the gifs?

I used Streamable for that one. You can also try Gfycat. Either one is pretty straightforward: paste the URL of the video, select the time stamp, and create a clip. Have fun. :)

Hi Reamer,

Quick Question, got some clips ready but not letting me add them onto the site?

Is there something i need to do?

I've asked the Mods to delete my previous post which didn't show the video..

Anyway back onto Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, we all know he can rush the passer, with various of moves, he can also play in coverage as well, especially the wheel route as we see here.

Ideally, i would of circled him but still trying to find the best software to do this.

I have also put it into Slow Mo as well, but you can speed it up if you wish.

Enjoy.

Harold Landry.

Two plays in this little GIF - First one is Landry Against the Run. It's a reed option. Takes the HB, who then proceeds to hold him of the floor.

Second Clip - Is Landry at his best. Pure Speed on the first Step, gets under the tackle and takes the QB down.

Landry and Reid as the first 2 picks would anyone complain about that?

I think you'd be hard to find anyone on here complain about that. Hopefully a CB will fall to our own second rounder

I should have more time soon to cut my own clips, but for now, here are a few plays from Burks at the Senior Bowl. Remember that he was a late addition, and didn't get the benefit of practice / preparation for the week leading up to the game.

Here’s a very interesting gif-storm from Jonah Tulls. Genard Avery, linebacker at Memphis. He’s 6’1, 248lbs and ran 4.59 with a 6.9 3 cone, benched 26 times and had a 36” vert. That’s top notch athleticism for someone of that size.

Seriously, check these gifs out because there are some special plays on display. The link takes you to a twitter moments page with all the gifs. Avery is no 6.

The Reddick comparisons might not even be hyperbole. Avery looks like what we want Roberts to be. Thanks for this! Binky engaged.

I watched one of his cut ups on YouTube and third day is probably about right, he’s not necessarily a starter yet but the tools are most definitely there - and yes, I think he’s an improvement on Roberts.

Lifted this one from Pat's Pulpit, but it's a nice view of Hubbard's smooth change of direction and plus quickness. Mockdraftable.com lists Bosa as his nearest match; I'm not sure he's anywhere near as refined, but that's not a bad ceiling if he improves his technique.

Speaking of Hubbard, I really like this play. Underrated instincts to sniff out the pass to the tight end. His physicality lets him stay with Gesicki and assist the linebacker for a stuff.

His jump off the snap is pretty inconsistent. When he knows he can explode out of his stance, however, he definitely flashes some speed.

31 or 43 for you?

Whatever it takes I guess. Don't be surprised if he goes before we pick. Fill in the blank: James, Fitzpatrick, Harrison, ______? Bates has some hype. White didn't do all the tests. Reid dominated, and has a brother playing well. Size, smarts, stats; he will rise.

Look for CB and safety clips later today. Some really positive stuff from Nick Nelson, and a mixed bag from both Godwin Igwebuike and Duke Dawson. I've been trying to finalize my rankings in the secondary.

Edit: tape > measurables. By the numbers, Igwebuike should be my favorite player ever, but his tape is so inconsistent. Look at this absolutely fantastic list of comps:

Godwin Igwebuike - MockDraftable

If I have time, I'll also do the good, bad, and downright ugly from Fred Warner. He might have the biggest delta between highs and lows of anyone in this class.
