Gronk looking good using bands for workout

I agree that it's an If Not When situation, like his wresting buddy said. However, I think the when is still a couple of years away.

Gronk should play four more seasons and solidify his legacy; that'll take him to age 32. Pro "wrestling" is silly.

I hope he hangs around a few more years. The WWE is "silly" as Tunescribe stated plus it is dangerous. If his concern is concussions or back pain stay away from the WWE.

I do think his long term health is playing a part in his contemplation, so I can’t blame him as much on that end.

Management may need to give him a raise by making his base salary higher. I gather his current deal has several incentives.

Well, he deserves to "have fun", because playing for the Patriots and winning SBs with NE certainly doesn't fulfill that need.;)

But lucrative and a whole lot less physical, unfortunately...

His evolution is Darwinian.
It takes most species millions of years to evolve and adapt. Not the Gronk.
From strippers....to cheerleaders.....to WWE ring girls.

He's such a ham dude:D:D

He really needs his own soap opera or reality tv show.

The Man child

Gronk 24/7

Days of Gronk

28 going on 13

I think Gronk is going to discover that once he leaves the thing which makes him special - being the greatest TE in football - the general public’s enthusiasm will wane.

The man’s acting abilities make Schwarzenegger look like Meryl Streep. His stand up comedy was atrocious. And wrestling? His size and athleticism could carry him in that arena, but it’s not exactly the best alternative for those seeking to take it easy on the body.

Yeah...once he stops being the GOAT TE, he's just another huge guy who likes to drink.

I guess if he takes on a role as a mic man, and gets in the ring every once in a while for some special events it would be a lot less physical. I want to see Gronk retire from football to become a full-time wrestler. Be my guest. Climb up cages and fall into tables, go ahead and jump off a top rope and trust the man you’re gonna land on braces properly. Fling yourself off the ring and into a mass of bodies. In order to keep him healthy, they’d have to manage him like we do Amendola.
Growing up as a kid, I loved the larger than life characters of the wrestling world. As an adult, bleh. But, I cannot deny what those men & women do isn’t incredibly dangerous work. I’d much rather play football.

Was it an inside job? I might have a word with the friends of Goon.

Agreed. Typical injuries are one thing, but when you get into back issues, that's something else entirely, and he's already had two or three back/spine surgeries.

Love this guy on a football field. Can do without in every other context.

He doesn't strike me as a guy who would be good on the mic like The Rock or Jericho. To be honest I don't see what his niche would be long term, they'd have to create some amazing storylines to get him a place long term. As others have hinted at what he did a summer ago or whatever was essentially just being Rob Gronkowski the GOAT TE in a wrestling ring.
