steratore spoke with riveron, and according to sound fx, both felt clement did not lose control of the ball even if he lost possession. steratore’s response was “that’s control all the way baby.” i don’t get it, but it is what it is.

But, Steratore was already prepped to self convince himself if at all possible, with Riveron per Goodell.

The ball moved.

It's incomplete in every other game this year.

We were without question cheated oyt of the play based on current rule. It was what it is. We absolutely need to beat the refs and the opponent. Been saying that for years. This sort of proves it.

If Eagles fans are to look at the same play with a Patriots' receiver with the catch, they'd all see what we see and say the refs gave the Pats a call.

Except it WOULD Have been called incomplete upfront and certainly over-turned, to appease 99.9% of the audience.

Won’t ever watch any replays of the Pats’ SB losses, burn the tapes baby!

Defensive talent and coaching decisions simply weren’t up to snuff. We’re on to 2018!

What a succinct, accurate summary of my SB52 feelings.

injuries...hightower
and mcclellin were sorely missed

No doubt. When you think about it, there were 3 controversial TDs if you believe guys like Chatham who claim that the WR was lined up improperly on the Foles TD catch.

Sucks to see it come down that kind of margin of error, especially since we almost won despite all of that.

I'm not going to ***** about a close call especially when it seemed our defense couldn't get a stop all game. If it was a close 17-13 game then maybe but I was more frustrated with Joe Montana Foles passing at will than anything else.

But in the end they earned that win and I'll tip my cap. It was a good game.

The WR being lined up a yard off of the los doesn't change anything in that play. Foles was wide open.

Side note: Collingsworth's lack of understanding of the catch rule was getting on my nerves. The Ertz TD was a clear and easy call. He became a runner and the ball broke the plain. "Surviving the ground" isn't in play at that point.

Side note 2: Collingsworth's breathing was getting on my nerves as well.

Steratore said that the ball moved but that it was never out of his possession, as if he was just shifting the ball in his hands or something. I have never heard of a catch called that way. If you are possessing it on a catch, then it ain't moving. Unless you're playing the Patriots, I guess.

Injuries...Wentz and Jason Peters were out for the Iggles, they overcame. Other side of the ball but critical pieces nonetheless.
