Gronk considering Acting Career?

You know.......this wouldn't be THAT crazy......he'd probably end up making more money.

However, most professional athletes are wired for competition, and there is no way that could be replicated with an acting career.

o_O ... ... Has this not been the weirdest season ever? "Damn, first Bill sabotages us and now The Rock?; at least Kraft and Josh screwed the Colts good." is not a sentence I would have ever foreseen myself typing a week ago.

Bill did not sabatoge us. He made a mistake (arguably).

The aftermath of this Super Bowl is something I have never seen in my life and I'm 46.

I can see him in the Expendables. It's not a reach for me to see him in a bunch of Rock type rolls.

I think Jason Taylor is still trying to get his movie career off the ground. Maybe they could do a buddy movie.

This guy is off his rocker. Walking away from BB/Brady now? I read this as a contract ploy, to be honest. He thinks he's underpaid, which maybe he is.

Yeah ok

I really enjoyed WWE for a time ~ 1999-2000 when the Rock was one of the main characters. He had a ton of charisma and talent that was obvious. He sold all his 1-liners and schticks and bravado very well - the crowd loved it and I can still vividly remember some of the stuff he said.

I think that all translated over to being a credible actor in Hollywood films.

Gronk's charismatic but he never once has struck me as someone who has any kind of range to sell to Hollywood.

I'm not an expert at all on acting, but I think if Gronk thinks he can do what the Rock has done, he's been sold a bill of goods.

Then again, Hollywood couldn't care less about his acting abilities if people buy tickets to see him on screen.

The problem is people will remember him as a football player and won’t take his acting career seriously.
