I’m not having any trouble defending my stance. If you lose the trust and faith of others that’s on you, and in this case that’s on Butler. All these threads have done is demonstrate to the 31 that the Patriots have some of the worst fans on earth. Belichick should tell New England to pound sand and go coach a rival, that’s what you deserve.

Of those 5 Super Bowls Brady won us 4 and nearly got a 5th the other night. Belichick the defensive genius got bailed out in every Super Bowl victory except for 36.

If Butler did do something that caused him to get benched (curfew, yelling at coaches, drugs) why would any of them even acknowledge this post if the guy got himself benched due to behavior and cost them a Super Bowl? They could have done nothing and no one would have thought twice about it but they chose to acknowledge it.

So it is exactly as Belichick said. Butler didn't do anything shady as Andy Johnson and robertweather repeatedly insinuated. Belichick also said was not related to misconduct.

So basically Belichick didn't like Butler's play on the field , probably since before SuperBowl, and benched him 5 minutes before the game started , and the secondary found out right before kick off.

I have said something must have caused belichick to bench him. Gee Malcolm said he would never hurt his team and he didn’t go to a concert or miss a curfew(he said nothing about denying being caught with drugs) so that has to be the end of it, because of course he would admit to anything he did wrong since he is now facing free agency.

Yeah they don’t think he warrants the money he is asking for. They think his game is limited. I agree with them, however he should have played on Sunday because he is without question the second best corner on the team.

What you fail to acknowledge is it is a real possibility Butler did not get himself to the point where the coaching staff trusted him to carry out his assignments on the field on any level.
