Your comparisons are absolute ****, and it's hilarious if you think the Eagles would have scored 41 with Butler playing.

That bridge is still available if you're interested.

Whatever. You have seen BB operate for 17 years exactly the same way. He did what he does and this has brought this team 5 championships and 8 SB trips. His program is what makes this team work and if a player doesn't fully submit then he will not play.

I haven't seen one person credit Van Noy. Blount looked like LeVon Bell out there. He just couldn't be stopped.

Reports now are Gronk might not be back after this loss. Well, we don't need injury prone players, anyways. He either resigns for a lot less or we trade him for a better defensive player that can ACTUALLY make plays and draft another TE.

I think gronk's crushed by this loss.

Butler benched, Gronk weighing options, going to be a drama-filled offseason!

Than he is a lot less intelligent than we give him credit for.

We don't know the "why" of it so, for now, it's probably best to note it without too much judgment in either direction.

pats RB's...3 catches, with Dion getting none

Not in the biggest game when you know he's out the door either way.

Brady played a masterful game, 505 yards of offense and 33 points should win you a SB. This defense really stunk it up. Even then, the game came down to one Eagle D lineman making the play of his career.

That being said, the eagles were making pretty much all of the contested catches and Files was fitting the ball into all the tight spots. This is the same offense that took it to the Vikings ,one of the other best D's in the league. No shame in looking this game. It was hard fought, we came up short, but Brady will be back in the mix next year. We are on to 2018

Please point to any play he made tonight????

How many INTs this season?

He is a day late and a dollar short on every play.

Who would you have rather had tonight, Jenkins or McCourty???

McCourty. The Patriots killed the Eagles on downfield throws with Jenkins late on every throw and then killed them with Gronk when Jenkins had him in single coverage.

The defenders were in phase on the long throws the Eagles connected on, the balls were just placed well and the receivers made good plays. The bigger issue was those 8-10 yard routes or missed tackles.

Oh my God... this is depressing to hear.

This man did so much for this team over the last few years. Not a good way to end his time here.

It really sounds like a quality of play issue. And that seems ludicrous.

My mind is just blown by this. When Butler said he could of changed the game I completely believe him. To play as the starter and get the rug swooped up from under you is just terrible. I just don't know what to think of this right now except in my heart he could of made enough stops to have made a difference. A very hollow defeat right now.

A big change in scheme where they don't play "let the other team do whatever the hell they want to on offense in the first half and we will fix it in the second" and actually come out of the gates looking like a team that has prepared for what they're facing would be nice too.

I'm still really mad about that one. It's against the damn rules. New England got called on it constantly even when they ran it legally. But Philly gets to just whip out illegal plays when the game is on the line and it's not a problem. Ugh.

4th and 3 pick play looked to be within 1 yard of LOS, but maybe I'm wrong.

Who drafted or signed those players.

Wondering if that fits the narrative or not.

They got to the friggin SB with those players so what is your point ? I mean if you keep drafting in the 30s you will not have access to blue chip players on defense.

Patricia and BB coached their ass off this year to even get this team that far. Add in McClellin, Rivers, Hightower and a Branch who gives a **** and it is a different defense.

I HATE losing. However, IMO it’s a bit easier to swallow knowing that Brady & the Offense played great & the D blew it; rather than vice versa. That’s just how I personally feel.

I think I'm more confused/pissed about Butler with BB saying it gave them best chance to wkn, couldn't they tell by halftime i t wasn't and made a change than? I hate saying this because BB is a awesome coach but I can't help but wonder if his ego got best of him and with people questioning him about it at halftime well he wasn't going to put him in regardless

In tonight's game I dont think either was really good.
