They also body slammed james white to the ground after his Touchdown. I was surprised they werent called for that either.

And the holding call against Wise was actually a tackle and slam to the ground. He was down and out and while the got the holding call, Wise was out of the game.

Not trolling to suggest: A) They're a limited offense without Gronk and B) They need to draft a TE ( mentioned before). But now isn't the time for draft or FA talk.

Philly can double team cooks if need be. Then, they can bring in a safety on Amendola. If Chris Hogan is still banged up, start Britt. Maybe use James White in the slot, with Lewis in the back.

A safety on Amendola? Yes, please...or better yet, an LB!

Worked out well for the Jags.

Today's practice news.

The missing folks aren't news in that we learned of Wise and Brown yesterday and Gronk during the game. And while Gronk is the big one, I've got to hope that Brown's injury is minor and they're just being cautious with him. I wasn't aware that he got hurt during the title game. He's had a really good year and has stepped up even further after his prior injury this year. His presence is crucial against the quality runners the Eagles have.

Just watched the tape again at the end of the game. Brown was out there until 2nd and 10 in the 4th with about 2:20 left or so which was the last potential running down of the game for the Jags offense.. Didn't limp off or anything so he can't be hurt that bad.

I wouldn't worry about Brown.

2nd concussion of the year for Wise....

thats pretty big news actually....if healthy he will be a big weapon against the eagles

It is. What Burk brings to the table allows a tangible widening of potential play calls. And given Philly's D is unquestionably good, more ability to mix and match personnel and play calls provides a better chance to find that most productive niche.

I guess? I mean it looked ok to me. Want to protect against hits to the head. Fair enough. But let that stuff go I feel. Then again the ref did immediately move to Myles Jack and gave him a talking about it. Maybe he was warned not to do that again?

And the trolling continues

I don't understand why people even react to his posts. Just block him or skim past his posts. Don't respond or read it. That's what I do. Then again people still continue to listen to and complain about Felger, shaugnessy, kellerman, etc...

IDK. As I recall, Jack didn't make contact with White until White was already well into the EZ and the ref was in the process of signaling the TD. There really wasn't any point to making the tackle, much less the body slam. Burfict probably would've been flagged for that.

Jack was pretty amazing this season. He's fast, strong, agile, has great instincts, seems to be able to do everything well. If he stays healthy and out of trouble and can continue to produce at this level, he seems destined for a great career. I'd be disappointed to see him go down the Burfict path.

What's really annoying to me is that Jack was one of several prospects from the 2nd round of the 2016 draft who turned out well and who the Pats may have missed out on due to Goodell's confiscation of their 1st-round pick (#27) over Deflategate.

Hunter Henry - #35
Jack - #36
Chris Jones - #37
Xavien Howard - #38
Michael Thomas - #47
Deion Jones - #52

The Pats' 2016 draft has turned out pretty well so far anyway, but still.
