We're On To The Eagles

I’ve seen this sentiment a few times on here recently. I think there is an approximately 0% chance that the game plan is something other than trying to score as early and as often as possible.

You know what I mean. Nobody goes out saying 'let's try not to score.' ffs.

But there is such a thing as aggressive play call on offense and defense and I doubt that will be the case.

I'm kind'a bummed we won't be playing the Vikings. I was hoping for a new team to 'own' in the superbowl, sort of a 'collection' to build on, rather than a repeat of a past match up.

I am very concerned that foles is going to be even more difficult to defend than bortles.

We have to bring our “A” game and jump out early on them!

It's funny that, as fans, we're now at a point where we're all mildly-annoyed at the inconvenience of Super Bowl drama.

I mean admit it, deep down all of us feel like we're due for a non-heart attack Super Bowl victory.

At this point its pretty much 50-50 at getting a repeat

Not scared of nick fowls, one bird after the other is being de feathered. Falcons were turkey dinner with choke sauce, eagles have been burnt chicken for years

No matter what guys, we’re gonna eat the bird so long as they don’t go austrich or get chicken pox or avian flu

After 30 years I have built up immunity. Only saving grace is that my street is populated with Giants, Cowboys, Steelers fans and me...

You must be an atheist because I could not believe in a God that would let such a thing befall me and my family.

It's going to be a long two weeks at work...A transplanted Bostonian in the heart of Eagles country.......

I think that's why the Eagles will have more fans. A) Patriots third trip in four years. Eagles first in thirteen. B) Patriots fans won't want to put up with the crap from Philly fans.

Lots of Patriots connections in Philly. Eugene Chung is a line coach, LeGarrette Blount, Chris Long, others?

Mariota, Bortles, Foles. Unreal.

This was easily the best possible outcome for the Pats. I don’t see how we lose this one if Gronk is healthy.
I don't see why people think Foles sucks. He has been good except when he played with Jeff Fisher. Jeff Fisher could probably make Montana look mediocre.

If Foles plays this good the Eagles will be really really really hard to beat. Usually he doesn't play this good though so I think it will be fine.

This might sound bad, but the good thing about the Pats performance against Bortles is that he basically did as well as possible. There's an upper limit to QB production.

You see a bad QB complete 65% of his passes for 300 yards and think what can a better one do? About the same. QBs, even great ones don't complete 85% of passes for 400 yards.

What I mean is, even if Foles plays great he will put up similar numbers, numbers that weren't good enough to win. But now Brady will face a slightly easier defense.
