well, I want Brady to play, but I would not be shocked at all if the Pats somehow won two games with Hoyer against this competition. It would be possible for sure. Not gonna happen but it would be glorious.

it is only two wins. It is absolutely possible with the brain trust the Pats have and the team. I don't think Brady is not playing Sunday, I am just saying they could win those two games with Hoyer.Well Josh was able to win a game with a completely raw rookie QB last season. He can definitely make it work enough with Hoyer.
Oh, no doubt I'd be rooting for him too if he was in the game, but I have a feeling that hoping for success is more wishful thinking than reality (but hey, I could be wrong). Let's just hope we don't find out.
but what if he can't throw?!?I can't imagine Brady not playing. Even if he's got a fracture or break, there's only two games left.
who is your dad?Hoyer is starting Sunday according to my dad.
Gonna go do the rosary
but what if he can't throw?!?
that is silly. Hoyer can play QB. He has played QB. He has won games. Of course you/we do not want to see him, because that means the GOAT is not playing.Get a fan from the stands to play QB. I don't want to see Hoyer in a pivotal game.
I bet they have contingency plans for exactly this situation, a whole set of game plans and plays for Hoyer already designed.it is only two wins. Hoyer is serviceable but he is nowhere near Brady. It would have to be a monster game from our defense for us to have a shot in that game.
Hoyer is the effing LEMI bet they have contingency plans for exactly this situation, a whole set of game plans and plays for Hoyer already designed.
Apollo 13 is on Netflix. One of the greatest movies ever. I'm sure Patricia is familiar with contingency planning.
Statistics show the 94% of internet posts that end with "book it" predict things that are not, in fact, booked. The Patriots win Sunday with Hoyer or Brady. Book it.
Well that would depend on how injured. If he cannot throw the ball, you are probably right. Otherwise, I'll take a banged up Brady over Hoyer any and every day. Even if his throwing is impacted a bit, he is the smartest QB in the game and I want him on the field.I’d feel more confident with healthy Hoyer than injured TB. The former is a known quantity, the latter isn’t, not even to himself.
But reputationally, I’m not sure any outcome is good for TB if Hoyer plays.
It is what it is. End of discussion.Statistics show the 94% of internet posts that end with "book it" predict things that are not, in fact, booked.
