well, I want Brady to play, but I would not be shocked at all if the Pats somehow won two games with Hoyer against this competition. It would be possible for sure.

Well Josh was able to win a game with a completely raw rookie QB last season. He can definitely make it work enough with Hoyer.

that is silly. Hoyer can play QB. He has played QB. He has won games. Of course you/we do not want to see him, because that means the GOAT is not playing.

If Hoyer plays we still win the Foxboro game.

Hoyer is serviceable but he is nowhere near Brady. It would have to be a monster game from our defense for us to have a shot in that game.

Bah. Pats would still be slight favorites with Hoyer. Trouble with Hoyer has been durability not performance. And he’s surrounded by way more talent here than he was outside of NE.

Well that would depend on how injured. If he cannot throw the ball, you are probably right. Otherwise, I'll take a banged up Brady over Hoyer any and every day. Even if his throwing is impacted a bit, he is the smartest QB in the game and I want him on the field.

Not that it makes any difference at this point, but, when he was starting for the Browns, Hoyer was the best of the bunch and actually had 2-3 pretty good games before he got injured.
