Jags @ Steelers Game Thread

I don't know if Bell's running style helps him against this team. It's still early, but I'm interested to see his production today.

This is an important distinction.

The book on beating the JAX defense is running the ball right up the gut, and attacking their LBs not named Telvin Smith in coverage, along with their safeties.

Lol @ Pittsburgh for chasing points and getting nothing.

Jag's carving them up. Jags /Pats will be a good game if it happens

Huge first down. If anything they can at least change the field position if they punt

Is Bortles as “garbage” as they say or do his receivers drop this many balls on the regular ? I’ve not watched much Jax, but it looks like they are letting him down on several occasions.

Game's far from over. Jags need to pour it on the squealers.

Ok I'm convinced this account is just some sort of bot that collects and reposts hot takes. There was like 2 minutes left in the 1Q when this was posted, most of us can count.

Tremendous penetration on the 4th down stop.

Shank Shaugnessey is already setting it up about how the Jaguars are the (by far) easiest road for NE. Not so sure about that.

From what I've watched it's mostly Bortles but his receivers don't seem to always bail him out.

Maybe when Bell was excited about back to back Round 2s he was referring to his visit to the golf course next week??

Live look at me watching this game:

Steelers could really use a strong run stopping linebacker.

If only they had one on the roster...

I see what you did there. I think Dupree was who they thought would out perform him looks like that backfired royally

Bortles is playing well. 20 points wins this game for the Jags.

Makes me wonder why they're running to the outside so much. That might work against the Pats this season, but not against this D.

Hope the jags can get some points off this drive.

I wonder how many Steelers fans bought AFCCG tix on the secondary market before today's game even started. I'll bet hundreds. I hope Jacksonville holds on now, I hate seeing those damn yellow towels in Gillette.
