Now will BB and the Pats appeal the ruling?
500K to belichick, 250K to the PAts. First rounder if they make the playoffs, 2nd and 3rd if they do not.
Whatever, lets move on.
This is tamed compared to what I thought was coming, so we got off easy.:rocker:
The league could start getting dragged down to David Sternville if the sign stealing is as common as some claim and more of it comes to light.
Now will BB and the Pats appeal the ruling?
This is ridiculous.
Anyone saying it is "light" just bought into the hysteria.
Denver was penalized a 3rd for a much more severe infraction. A first is a huge punishment.
Part of me wants it to just go away, while another part wants NE to fight it.
I'm with you... although I am VERY happy that there is no suspension here. Either way, I'm just glad we can move on. BB is worth the first round pick regardless.
Like BB says "It is what it is."
I understand the desire to fight the penalty, because it is extremely excessive, but Goodell is such a hardass that we should probably let it lie and move on.Part of me wants it to just go away, while another part wants NE to fight it.
Part of me can't help thinking that if we drafted Poszlusny or someone like that with the 1st Rd pick we traded, they would have never taken a first from us. They only did it because we had two 1sts.
