I don't think anyone here is thinking that it's all roses. I'm happy to acknowledge that there is some "friction" right now amongst all parties -- but it's the same "friction" that we all face in our relationships. There's nothing out there that suggests from a verified source that BB wants out, that Brady wants BB out, and that Kraft is overruling BB and giving him mandates.

Of course there is conflict. How can there be no conflict in a high pressure working environment like a football team. But what was reported goes beyond that.

What does "flat-out innacurate" mean to you?
some of the article yes.. The Pats rated the article to have three different types of information.

1. Flat out inaccurate (so yes, some parts are totally false, which can be expect)

2. Unsubstantiated (just means unproven.. VERY strange to use that term in this statement so carefully crafted

3. "Exaggerated" (I.e. TRUE to a certain extent)

A failed statement if it was supposed to be a denial. Including the statement of looking forward to the "opportunity" to work together in the future. Another very strange way to put that.

At the very least, they need to fire who wrote this statement, if it is meant to be some kind of denial. the whole thing is a classic "Non-denial"

Sham did the same thing after the Richard Sherman story. Claimed that Seahawks “insiders” were flooding him with praise. Meanwhile the beat writers were picking his story apart and cleaning up the mess. Just like Howe and Mark Daniels have.

Funny fellow, this Wickersham. From last May when he reported about dysfunction within the Seahawks:

Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett and Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman took issue with Seth Wickersham’s ESPN The Magazine article regarding the dysfunction in Seattle. Others didn’t.

“I don’t blame him for having that reaction,” Wickersham said during a Friday visit to PFT Live regarding Bennett. “I’ve been doing this for a long time. I mean, he knows what’s going on. I got so many texts from players and people in the Seahawks building yesterday telling me how I nailed it.

If anything, Wickersham is surprised by the idea that anyone would dispute the idea that there have been problems with the Seahawks.

“I was not being some sort of expert detective here,” Wickersham said. “I mean, this stuff is an open secret in the NFL, and I just spent a couple weeks trying to show it as best I could and talk to as many people as I could in the building; I took two trips out to Seattle.”
Others told Seth Wickersham he “nailed it” on Seahawks

Which of the two bodies missed more games due to injury in the last two years?

and yet Brady has missed far more games over his career, which is about as valid as your comment.

Bad things can happen when a defender gets a good hit on a QB, it happened to Brady's knee and Jimmy G's shoulder, but that doesn't change the fact that one is 40 and the other 26.

The sweetest part of this is that the dudes own peers, other media members, are bashing this piece left and right

And after seeing how many things in it have already been called incorrect, lol, this whole fiasco is more funny than hurting to the pats

Bring on the divisional playoff game

If Brady was was 9 td 2 int and a 95+rating over his last 5 games instead of 6tds 5 int this story wouldn't have so much juice....face it, yes I know they're 13-3, but brady has not looked good the last 5 or 6 weeks...

It depends on how you look at it.

When you are refuting a story you NEVER say all of it is untrue. Its a calculated response.

Look- I'm not to parse every single word from the presser and put a microscope under it and speculate its weight and hidden meaning.

They said the piece was exaggerated, unsubstantiated and flat-out inaccurate with fallacies.

I suggest be satisfied with it and watch the games.
