That's one of the reasons I couldn't help but laugh at people who were saying that Brady didn't do much. Pittsburgh played almost as flawless a game as they could have, right up until the last two minutes or so. They kept Brady on the sidelines by working the Patriots defense over. They made Brady think by pressing the receivers. They got pressure on Brady with just a minimum of pass rushers.
In the end, it still wasn't enough, but it might have been, if Brown hadn't gotten injured, or if James had just held on to the ball.
Them running the ball effectively really kept our defensive backs on their toes. A balanced attack's very tough to stop. Not having branch hurt. Wish we could get valentine back but he likely's done. Van Noy as well needs to be back and 100 percent.
