OFFENSE - PROTECT BRADY
We will need an extra blocker, making 6 OL's. Of course, we could run a 2 TE set. In any case, I wouldn't expect us to use a lot of 3 and 4 WR sets, unless absolutely necessary, and then from the shotgun. More hurry-up might help.

DEFENSE
It's a lot of man to man. Otherwise, PITT will have 200 years on the ground. The DL needs the help against the run.

They're gonna move the ball on us. Key will be our red-zone defense and trying to hold them to FG's. They struggled in red-zone earlier but have turned it around lately.

Cannon out hurts our pass protection. I believe we'll see a lot of James Develin today. I think we'll figure the protection out and score on them. 34-31 Pats. P. Dorsett with a long TD catch today.

Pittsburgh has a terrific record of stopping TEs.

Brady is hurt must have time to setup and he must have an outstanding game after the past two week's performances. No long balls please.

Our defense has to stop Rapeisberger who has been having his best ever the last 2 games.

Our Defense must have a perfect game for us to win.

Go Pats

I’d prefer to spread them out than to leave in 6 blockers. Are you suggesting our base offense should be 6 ol?

I don’t understand. It is easier to stop the run from a zone concept than man. DL is the key against the run, not help.

I actually think we are going to see a game won before it’s played, by the coaching staff and gameplan. I expect Matty P to break tendencies and have a varied gameplan that throws the book at them. (Of course the score can change this). I think we will see more zone that usual. Bell in the passing game is interesting. They have used him a ton the last 3 games but before that he averaged only 4.9 catches for 30.8 yards per game, hardly a huge part of the offense. However, Pitt always throws to the RBs a lot against us. I expect to see Chung very often following bell wherever he goes. Chung may be a LB this week at least for half the snaps or so.
I think we will bring heavy blitzes at the right time, just often enough to surprise them but often enough to make some big plays.
I’m expecting 4 DL on virtually every snap (I hope) with the big guys out there a lot. A dL if Flowers, Brown, Guy, Wise/butler playing 2 gap on early downs will slow down bells running style.
Offensively we will run the ball better, and there should be lots of opportunities for the backs out of the backfield but make no mistake this will be a game where Brady feast in the middle of field on dep an intermediate passes.
Brady will look like the GOAT today and film review will show Patrick Chung was the hero on defense.
Won’t pick a score because garbage time is unpredictable but the patriots will win pretty comfortably.
That’s my somewhat educated guess.

If the D needs to be " perfect" to win...well.....I've got some bad news...lol...

I have a feeling that our defense will come up big today after that showing last week which wasn't as bad.

Huh?
Gronk 5 games vs Pitt 30/496/8 TDs.

Brady is hurt must have time to setup and he must have an outstanding game after the past two week's performances. No long balls please.
Brady is fine, Pitt is ripe for the picking with long balls.

with this I agree, subject only to the health of our players.

Just hope Mattty P turns up the heat on Big Ben with an effective blitz here and there....
