We like this thread and are trying to work out a position. Many have voiced an opinion and then we all pulled our knives out. Not to harm but to heal the cancer that d.f.g is in the only way we can. For me, this has made me research more stuff to find out what is real. False things get said and, to figure it out, the arguing is a nescessary thing

I see it differently. To provide alternative viewpoints does not require arguing. It doesn't require competitive banter. In fact, that only gets in the way because it creates defensiveness which reduces everyone's ability to hear what's being said, and "what is real" becomes even more elusive.

Well, we learned this by watching Goodell, and wrestling. What would a thread be without flame outs, outbursts, craziness and the like? Another politically correct yawner that I’d fall asleep reading.

Look, you strike me as a reasonable, open-minded person who is capable and willing to consider the possible validity of viewpoints which may be in conflict with your own. So, with that said, I only have one question: What the f### are you doing here?

Yep, I thought that’s how we rolled here. I literally read threads for five months before joining and would laugh hysterically at the stuff said here. I really enjoy it.

The hallmark of intelligence is keeping an open mind always. When you close down your mind and take the emperors salt and place yourself above everything like: I’m right and you are wrong then attack the others. You lose abstract thought ability and the ability of mode shift, clear thinking has to be malleable in this world. An opinion that is cement will sink at some point.

I doubt that I’m right about anything. All I’m saying is keep an open mind, be willing to consider things. Without that, things erode into name calling, pointless bickering and idiotic tendencies. You guys are my brothers here so I want to help and be of use but we all have to stop this thin skinned, totally stupid stuff where everyone’s offended by everything. How are we to grow like that? I’m just amazed that you wouldn’t be upset or annoyed if you witness sexual harassment or racism ( not to exclude the others). By the way pissed off is just a euphemism for upset and annoyed as is disgusted. I think you are just confused on the definition of offended.
