He hasn't done anything since November 2015. He clearly wasn't progressing after tearing up his knee last year. The Bucs don't exactly have a fearsome pass rush, and they just dumped him after a couple games. He's probably done.

Yeah, what the defense really needs right now is more question marks and liabilities.

I think its worth a shot. We arent generating any pressure. Trey Flowers is a nice piece and Wise Jr seems like he will become a good player... but it couldnt hurt to have another pass rusher in the mix...Guy is a great against the run and I havent seen much from Brown to inspire hope that he was worth a 1st rounder (not saying he isnt a solid rotational player). I think alot of these defensive issues fixed themselves if we can get a rush going.

Pats were forced to blitzing a good amount last night it would be incredibly helpful to be able to still generate some consistent pressure.

That said the key word is "consistent" and a guy coming off a major ACL tear may not give that to you.
