I think our O is starting to gel but our D needs more time and players to step it up a notch. I think give them till game 8 to analyze the D more.

Idk. They will be tested against better offenses on paper coming up. The bucs and the falcons. Oh boy

What do people think of Watson going forward? Too early to tell? Great QB?

He impressed me with the little things. His ball fakes are almost Brady-like, made a lot of the plays for him. He's still a rookie, so looks to run too quickly. But he's a real leader too. Needs to improve his accuracy. I'd say his future is bright. Has those intangibles we know are what are really important.

if you've watched this team, you know how it works......the defense especially is a work in progress; every year is a new year - come december this staff will have mounds of tape on everyone else, and will have a good long look at our guys, and things will come together......

Winner. Chicken littles please read ^

Well the defense wasn't this terrible to start the season. It's early but they haven't even faced those powerhouse offenses unless you think the chiefs and the Texans are in that league. They're not!

Brady once again shows why he is the GOAT.

I think BB wants us to establish the run, but we weren't expecting these types of close games. It's too bad Burkhead is still injured because i think he would have had a huge game today

To be fair, Kareem Hunt still hasn't played an NFL game in which he hasn't broken off a huge TD.

This is the 1st mobile QB in ages that has given the Pats a hard time..

Alex Smith and the way the ran the offense would qualify week one. Both of last year's loses against Wilson and Taylor the QB's les played into it. Granted one was without Brady and with a banged up Brissette. I'd be nervous in the playoffs against a Mariotta even though the Pats are a better team vs say Oakland who has more talent than the Titans.

Here's how each season works imo.

The beginning of the year starts and no team has any fresh game film on any other team. The first 4-6 games are full of surprises. These games favor the more athletic teams.

Games 7-16 is when the game planners take over. These games favor teams with Coaching, depth and players that know how to follow a game plan.

The Patriots have a good team. The defense will improve as it does every year. The offense will improve as well. It should be a fun year.

I think KC and the Texans are playoff caliber teams but these games will mean nothing if they meet again in January.

I know the offense will get better. I have no concerns about that. The defense clearly has to get better. Hopefully it does. That's what will carry us to the big game. Off course have to stay injury free.

D sucks. Run sucks. Brady is Magnificent. That about sums it all up.

People have lost their minds. I was working with the public, walked away last February.
It is some sort of mania, collective panic attack.

I would tell people, hey, see, the sky is still blue, not falling on your head.
Look, trees, birds, Brady Super Bowls...

They seem determined to be miserable, to find things to be angy about and react disproportionately.

Be careful out there, it really is nutty.

Politics has become like synthetic heroin and Twitter has become a raging mob. Together they are like gasoline and a match.

I don't think his heart's in it anymore. He knows the only way to get past the Pats and win a SB is if somebody else does it.

His road splits last year were terrible and the reason I jumped Giardi last year for picking the Steelers in the AFCCG game for what he deeemd “football reasons”.

Yankees, Canadiens, Celts had crazy runs, but there was not the personnel turnover.
We are not going to see this again.

Can't speak to the others, but the Celts had a bunch of turnover.
Cousy left in 1963.
Ramsey left in 1964.
Havlicek arrived in 1962.
Heinsohn left in 1965.
Loscy left in 1965.
Sharman left in 1961.
Nellie arrived in 1965.
And that's not counting the many role players who cycled in and out.

The only constants were Russell and Sam Jones on the court and Red on the bench or in the front office.
