He probably should have but we know now he'll never kneel. The only touchback we're getting on a kickoff to Hobbs is one that goes out the back of the endzone or one that hobbs drops.

Wonder if BB cares that Hobbs refuses to kneel

That's the thing, though--by the time the camera pans over, we lose sight of what's "ahead of" the returner. I am sure that Hobbs felt that returning the kickoff would get him at least to the 20, if not further. If he didn't feel that way, I'm pretty sure he'd take the knee.

Nope, not according to what he said after the game. Said he will never take the knee, he's taking it out every time no matter what (of course unless the coaches decide they don't want him to)

They showed footage of it during the game today after Hobb's return... Roy Green for the Cardinals, 1979 last one to return one for 106.

Ellis Hobbs the III stands alone at the top... pretty cool. My teenager got quite the kick out of being able to rib me the rest of the day because the first words outta my mouth when he brought it out were "That was a mistake Ellis. DAMNIT" 30 seconds later my kid's on his feet yelling "Mistake?!? Mistake?!? That was one AWESOME mistake!!!"
