Very tough loss, boys. They got humbled and embarrassed. But you MUST have faith in Belichick and Brady. The noise will be loud tomorrow but we'll regroup. We always ****ing do.
Again, the Chiefs scored 42 points tonight so far while the Pats scored 27 points. And you want to single out McDaniels? McDaniels could have called a perfect game and it probably wouldn't matter.
Right now, McDaniels' play calling is probably about 20th for the reasons the Pats are going to lose this game tonight and most of the 19 reasons before it are on the defensive side of the ball.
McDaniels deserves his share of the blame, but I blame Brady and the offensive players as much or more.
Don't disagree that there isn't plenty to spread around, but the play calling also drove negative synergy: our D would have been fresher theirs more tired with better-longer drives. Just a fact.
When will you learn? '14 KC game, Brady was getting drilled. Gronk was working his way back.
Tonight? Yeah some injuries, but he was clean for a majority of it. You can try to cut it whichever way you want. He was very bad. He's 40. What else are you supposed to think?
Well, you could start by thinking that bad games happen and that as recently as this past season he was playing MVP-caliber football. It's way, way, way more likely that he just had a bad game than that he's done. You're just hysterically overreacting because that's what you do.
Brady sucked tonight. If he still sucks in a couple weeks then it's time to get worried. But if you lost your mind and declared him done every time he had a ****ty game after age 35, you'd be doing this every year.
The team is just stretched too damn thin. They don't have enough WRs out there and their LBs are not good, especially with Hightower out. Against a team with very good DBs and RBs, it's not a good situation.
This whole team sucked tonight including the QB. Let's see how they respond. I just wondered what the hell happened to this defense tonight! I expected the offense to have growing pains but I didn't expect this defense to piss the bed!
The offense put up 27 points. It wasn't great, but it wasn't a bad joke either. They did their jobs, more or less.
The run defense, OTOH, will singlehandedly lose them a lot of games if they don't figure out what the **** they're doing and fix it right away. If they cut Van Noy tonight I won't be upset.
