The funny thing is that everyting considered the D followed the gameplan pretty well. Except for a blown coverage and the Chiefs finding that mismatch with Marsh on the field. If you give plays like that up to the Chiefs you will have a hard time winning the game.

I dunno if "the defense has been passable if you take out the multiple 70+ yard plays" can really be regarded as a defense of the D.

This is the best game of Alex Smith's career. That's pretty telling.

NE has allowed KC to make big plays. Seemed like NE was going to pull away almost right away - but it's been tough watching some of the big KC plays.
