Just walked into Buffalo Wild Wings and was greeted by this. It never gets old.

metairie?

Having lived both places, I think it is worse down there, especially with Saints fans. NOLA people pretty much despise Atlanta.
The two major commercial centers of the deep South.

Ever since bounty gate, I have considered the NO saints fans as brothers. Defamegate only made that stronger.

The hatred NO has for Atlanta is epic. I mean mardi gras floats with choking dirty chickens in a cauldron and 28-3 gumbo painted on the side.

umm...not really, would for that to be the case, but def not...unless we're not counting texas as deep south

Houston and NO tend to become the northern part of the Gulf of Mexico from time to time... sorry, I know, too soon.

Isn't this like the Jets taunting the Patriots for the game-that-must-not-be-named?

Exactly the Jets haven't won a super bowl since many eclipses ago and buttfumble and we're a contender every year.

Maybe, but I think it's slightly different. For one thing, the Saints have their recent championship while the Falcons haven't won anything.

For the Jets fans, they're like a 40-year old virgin living in their parent's basement mocking Leonardo DiCaprio for being rejected by some model once. Yeah, it happened, and it might sting a bit, but not when you're being mocked by a 40-year old virgin.

When Giants fans bring it up, it stings, sure. When Jets fans bring it up, it doesn't bother me at all though. It's like hearing Jets fans talk about what makes a successful QB. How the **** would they know? They haven't seen one in half a century!

I do love how this promotion is going on in New Orleans though. I thought it would run in MA too, but that's amazing.

I know this is a bit of a fairy tale. But let's pretend the Jets made it to the Super Bowl at some point within the last 50 years. Let's also pretend that had a 28-3 lead in the 3rd quarter over....say ....the Saints.

I'd be ecstatic if the J-E-T-S choked and lost the game. Wouldn't you?

New Orleans has 1 championship and the Dirty Birds have zero. NOLA fans want to keep it that way.

Defeating the Peyton led Colts added to their popularity too.
