I like Carr, but a lot of players are gonna be cut Saturday. If someone better is out there bye bye. I don't think he's explosive enough to make an impact.

Anyone giving up on him already isn't coming from a place of reason anyway. He's showed exactly the kind of growing pains you'd expect from a raw player who's had limited reps. On this drive we saw the upside, ie why the Pats are trying to develop him in the first place. I have faith.

I expect Carr to make the team at this point. He's not explosive enough to be penciled into the poor-man's-Edelman role, but as backups go you could do a lot worse and I think he could have more of a post-injury Amendola type role on this team eventually.

He's played well in every single game this preseason. He has to be in. Especially if Mitchell cannot go to start the season. As long as he doesn't end up a Jete,

I think he's in. As long as he can play ST--and I don't see any reason why he wouldn't--he's done everything a guy can do to make the team.

Austin Carr is making a late push for a roster spot. He's been dependable in the preseason.
