Any news on the release of the 2016 America's game? I thought we would hear something by now about It?

The last several years America's Game has initially aired after Labor Day, a day or two before the season opening game. I would assume that will be the same again this year.

Not sure when the BluRay/DVD gets released.

Preview/teaser/trailer will probably come out around August 24-26.

I wonder if they're going to do a separate coaches one again? It's possible we might hear something about that this week? But I'm guessing it will happen around August 24-26 like they did with the Donkeys "Worth the wait"

It is likely just me but is it strange that we haven't heard anything about who is doing it? Does it usually get leaked or am I just paying more attention this year and have just noticed the silence?

I would love to know who is doing it.

They did one for the 2015 donkeys called "Worth the wait". Whether they do another one depends on if BB wants to do one I reckon.

What's really weird is that, through onDemand, all of the "America's Game" shows are available for view. Except that one. They go from the 2013 Seahawks to the 2015 Broncos.

Do they still sell DVDs and regular blu ray discs in the first world? Given the advancement of technology and the rise of 4K, I thought these archaic formats would be found only in places like Somalia or some ****.

I believe people who appreciate better sound quality for their home theatre system still prefer BluRay over streaming.

I'm not disparaging physical media. I'm disparaging regular blu ray over the vastly superior 4K discs that have been on the market for over a year now.
