I feel like a bit of the message contained on the towels (that Goodell is a complete jabroni aka clown) may be lost when people are waving the towels, may I suggest the fans in Gillette hold up the towels instead, European football supporters style? Imagine 70,000 (or at least near that number) holding up the towels like this

Just a suggestion, as long as the towels make it in and have a presence I will certainly be content.

Well I mean, I've already seen a reference to a towel being waved by Gisele hopefully in this thread so I don't think the holding up the towel idea is unanimous or anything...

Gisele's a special case. Just waving it sends a message.
For everyone else, holding 50,000 clown faces open would be quite a visual.

Now it's up to the community to build the momentum, get the word out and awareness so everyone coming to the stadium is looking for a towel, get organized with how to distribute them, and make this happen. The hurdle used to be the $ for the T-Shirts or Towels, that's gone. Now let's make it memorable! It's on us now!

Wonder if Kraft will try confiscating the towels from people entering the stadium.

I was serious that I am hiding mine under my shirt on the way in. Everyone should hide the towel under their clothes, although I doubt Kraft will confiscate them. He can legitimately tell Fraudger that there's nothing he can do except support him publically, which he's done all along (incredibly, to me anyway).

He can either use it as an excuse not to go. Or if he does go it is no longer his first visit since deflategate, which removes some of the impact.

I'm all for it...I've bought clown shirts for each in my group of 6.

I'm just not sure how 70,000 towels are going to get into the hands of most people going to the game.

While I doubt they are going to be confiscated, they won't be allowed to distribute them in the parking lots or in the stadium.

Sidewalks are public right aways. Handing out towels to wipe sweat in a late summer opener is a heartfelt gesture of charity. If they aren't being sold, no qualm with law enforcement. You dont need a license to hand out gifts.

He's amusing at times and I've enjoyed his relentless, justified verbal pursuit of Scumbag Roger. But, like many public figures, Portnoy is not all what he appears to be. Anyone who thinks this initiative on his part is all for us and the defense of the shield is mistaken. There's a far seamier side to him.
