The NESN article said that Brady has had the best selling NFL jersey throughout the country during the off-season. This is great news in that it further deflates the Omissioner's attempt to besmirch Brady's legacy. But what is really interesting is the state-by-state map of which player's jersey is the best seller. Seeing Brady as number one in Indiana is truly satisfying. He is also number one in places like Alabama and New Mexico with no obvious connection to the Pats or Brady.

They think it's Marcia's.

In other far-flung-fan news, I just notice that the Patriots Preseason Television Network broadcasts from stations in all six New England states...plus Alaska and Hawaii. (Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau stations in Alaska!)

Broadcast Information: Patriots vs. Jaguars

I'm curious as to who is buying the Brady jerseys in Indiana, a lot of women or kids that like winners?

Are there young guys buying them to and wearing them to clubs because women are attracted to Brady?

If you from Indiana, would you root for the Colts?

So I know this thread is mostly about jokes and roasting the Colts (which I'm totally on board with, btw!), but you bring up an interesting point about fandom and regional loyalty. I grew up just outside of Boston, but I've lived in NY for most of my life. I still cheer for the Patriots -- obviously -- but I've lived in Bills territory long enough that for 14 weeks of the season, I'm at least a sympathizer to their plight. They're just so pathetic and sad that I feel bad for them.

I've even been to a Bills game with some friends and had a pretty good time, although in retrospect that may have been due to all the tailgating.

Now the question becomes, who will my sons follow? I've converted my in-laws into Patriots fans, but all of our friends and neighbors are Bills fans. I'll raise my sons to root for the Patriots, but I would also grudgingly respect a decision to root for the local team, if that's what they decide to do. Any other option would be meant with the appropriate scorn and corrective action, naturally, but I'm a sucker for hometown loyalty. I appreciate sticking with the local team, through thick and thin.

So, yes, if I were from Indiana, in some bizarro alt-timeline, then I suppose I would root for the Colts. Now excuse me while I go rinse myself in bleach for even typing that sentence.

Simple logic:

Brady is to corn-fed pureness
as
Luck is to disheveled scrotum

Colts fans hate the Pats, and Brady.. but deep down, we know and they know who is king, and who they wish they were/had.

It has to be all the Indiana women buying TB 12 stuff.
