Lets take some guesses....where do you think he will finish stats wise?

I know we have options...but this guy is going to break OUT (Not like he already hasn't...but my good watching him in TC..i knew he was good..but this looks like top 5 stuff he is doing)

1000+ yards

100 + catches.

80+ Receptions
1200+ Yards
12+ TD's

Not quite Moss '07 like but I expect yards in bunches by him. Honestly if this offense stays health all year. I have no idea how you'd even go about setting a plan that can beat them on paper. Much less actually doing it on the field.

85 rec, 1250 yds, 8 TDs.

I'm thinking around 20ypc. 70rec, 1400 yards, 10 TD. Gronk will still catch the most tds, and Edelman will have the most rec, but cooks will take huge chunks out of the middle of the field.

I just got home and turned on NESN for the first time in a long tine. I See Porcello throwing pitches every 15 seconds. I was confused for a moment until I realized it was one of those shortened replays. That's what I expect the Pats to look like next season with Cooks leading the way. Bam bam bam touchdown! That fast, that easy.

After reading one of @KontradictioN 's post I think his impact will not show up in his stats alone. Gillislee, Burkhead, Edelman etc... will also benefit from Cooks' presence on the field.

So I would guess a 1200 yards, 12 TD season. But I also think the Pats will challenge the total scoring record as well.

With one ring for himself, and another for Briannon Lepman

I expect him to have an impact on and off the stat sheet.

Cooks - 1175 yards 9 TDs, 75 receptions.
Gronk - 1050 yards 13 TDs, 60 receptions.
Edelman - 1050 yards 5 TDs, 80 rceptions.

If all 3 stay healthy it will be the first time since I think 2011 that the Pats have had three 1000+ yard targets.

Hogan, Amendola and Mitchell will have their yards cut as generally it makes no sense to take the 3 above players off the field if they are healthy, have their wind and the game is still in doubt.

Something tells me to temper all this happy talk. Sounding a little too much like 2007. Championships are not won on paper or in September and defenses always adjust, even to juggernauts. The Pats have a lot of weapons - let's see them mesh. I do think Cooks will have the most yards, but Edelman may well have the most catches.

80 catches 1250 yards 7-8 TDs

I'm getting my Cooks jersey autographed by Brandin next week, so excited!

He'll have something closer to a good Deion Branch year than a good Randy Moss year.
So 800-900 yards? I doubt it. I don't think Cooks will have 23 TD's or near 1500 yards. But I'd be a little disappointed if he didn't contribute at least 1100-1200 yards.

The only reasons I would be somewhat hesitant would be the adjustment period that may occur before he's really dominating in live game settings (let's say around 4 games, give or take), the expected emergence of a running game, and the fact that we have a good amount of receiving options to choose from.

I agree that it would be somewhat disappointing if he didn't reach a certain milestone, but my expectations are slightly more conservative at 950-1050 yards. Just my opinion, obviously.

He saw your projections of around 1150 in each of the last two years, but that was in the Saints offense, so things could be spread around a bit more. We'll have to see what BB and McD have in store.

Cooks
91 catches / 1577 yds / 15 TDs / 211 yds rushing

Brady
Breaks season records for:
Most pass attempts
Most completions
Most passing yds
Most passing TDs

Assuming that Gronk, Cooks and Edelman all stay healthy ...

Based on a 600+ passing attempt season and previous "high-passing" seasons' target distributions, I'd project Cooks, Gronk and Edelman to finish with around 100 targets, 65-70 receptions and 900-1000 yards each.

Then, White, Hogan and Mitchell would see +/- 70 targets, 45-50 receptions and 400-500 yards each.

Allen, Lewis, Burkhead, Amendola would then divide the majority of the remaining +/- 100 targets among them.

Again, based on previous "high-passing" seasons, I'd then project +/- 450 rushing attempts for about 1900 yards and 18-20 rushing TDs. The "lead rusher", presumably Gillislee, would see +/- 190 carries for +/- 800 yards.
