It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I like that Lucien is getting work with this group.Jimmy Garoppolo was 16 of 26 with an interception in team drills, including 9 of 18 in 11-on-11s. He competed passes to Hogan (three), White (two), Julian Edelman (two), Gronkowski (two), Devin Lucien (two), Lewis (one), Bolden (one), Cooks (one), Andrew Hawkins (one) and Amendola (one).
Why would you hit Polian with a paper bag full of Polian? What's wrong with a 2x4?
What is this? Boyscouts?
-- Late in the work with the receivers, the defensive backs all dropped as a group to do pushups, something they’ve been doing in recent practices after allowing completions. They were then told by position coach Josh Boyer that the pushups were not needed after a mere 4-yard completion by the offense.
Unfortunately early reports of Dwayne Allen is exactly what i expected, a soft, injury prone guy with bad hands just like he was in Indianapolis, you can say a lot of things about the Colts but they can put up nice passing numbers and his contribution was poor.
I'm expecting Scott Chandler 2.0.
Happy to see binkie doing well..
--David Jones, the undrafted rookie safety out of Richmond, has stood out not only for his punt return reps but showing impressive coverage ability and range in the back end of the defense. He’s a name to keep an eye on during training camp and the preseason. At 6-3, 210, he certainly has an NFL frame.
Gill - excellent
B-Rex - used to be weakness . made it a strength

Thanks for the info, very useful. Last year (and in most recent years) IMHO we telegraphed whether it would be a running play (Blount or Ridley) or a passing play (White or previously Vereen), so a good defense could guess what play was coming depending on the running back. Image how much more powerful the Patriot offense will be if we have one or two dual purpose backs that can participate in running plays (running the football) or in passing plays (catching out of the backfield or pass blocking when needed). And this is with tight ends that can either block for running plays or catch the ball on passing plays.
This year may be the most difficult-to-defend Patriot offense ever. I wouldn't want to be a defensive coordinator going against the Patriots this year.
Gentleman... gentleman... we can compromise
