From NFLN "Top 100" show..

"There are 7 Malco(l)ms that played a snap in the NFL last year..."

It's not just me.

I think it's funny how many 24 y/o and under athletes are named Shaquille.

I'm waiting to hear of kids with the first name Gronk. ;-)

Malcolm isn't an unusual name... Not sure why this would be worth noting unless there were 7 on the same team.

Anyway, the Pats' roster currently consists of 3 of the following names: Malcolm*, Brandon*, Devin and James.

We're working on it.

You're late to this party

We usually refer to it as "The Malco(l)m position" around this time of year.

My cousin moved with GM to Tennessee about 15 years or so ago. Every kid in the neighborhood was named Peyton! Being a Brady fan didn't help him....

We could promote "Uggs" as a nickname"

"Yo, Uggs! What's shakin'" See?

Spelling Malcolm as Malcom should be a crime.

Interesting: two up votes (one mine), two down votes, replicating the symmetry of the IQ bell curve exactly. Could be a coincidence, I suppose.

Since we're playing the 'name game' a fun fact I can share is.............

...."In 2007 the Patriots acquired tight end Kyle Brady which obviously resulted in two players named Brady on the same team. That same year the NFL abolished a jersey rule in which part of the first name (usually first initial) had to be used to differentiate players on the same team with the same last name."

Do you think that's coincidence that the two happened the same year, or do you think they changed it becasue it influenced such a high profile player such as Tom Brady? If anything, you'd think that they would keep the rule to sell more jerseys....ones that say "T.Brady" instead of just "Brady".

Maybe they left out the (.) and it's really Mal.com?

That gave me a great idea for the draft name of the future, in maybe 10 years...

I said before in about 6 years they'll have their jobs taken from them by kids named Kobe.
