@patchick Any chance that I could get an honorable mention in the draft contest, given how many of my UDFA choices actually signed here? If you look at my list on the first page of this thread, almost every signing appears on my short positional list. I might not have earned a full-blown ode, but maybe I could get a small epigram or haiku? ;)

There once was a reamer from Nantucket. . . . ;)

Dane Brugler's Draft Guide Projections:

Damarius Travis: Rd 6
Austin Carr: Rd 7
David Jones: Priority Free Agent
Harvey Langi: Priority Free Agent
Cole Croston: Priority Free Agent

Rest of the rankings are standard UDFAs

Will Carr vs. Amendola be a thing?

REACH= taking a projected 6-7th rounder in the 3rd. Right now he is taking 6th rounders in the 8-16th round.

It's just... this is UDFA we're talking about here. How can you reach on a UDFA? What projection is lower than that?

I can't make sense of it. "Classic bad Belichick, taking a player as an undrafted free agent who wasn't projected to go until... ???"

Travis Rudolph to the Giants.

he thought he had
a reamer head
crushing the walls
on 3-cones

and still he drilled
until was thrilled
to hear them call
his binkies

ode to draftnik reamer

(english not my language, so..)

His prospect lists were finely crafted,
The Pats said no, so he felt shafted,
But some of them were signed undrafted.

I was mostly joking, but now I'm going to frame this and hang it in my office. :D

Bad news. Doesn't fit the rules of a haiku. Back to the drawing board.

Haiku" is a traditional form of Japanese poetry. Haiku poems consist of 3 lines. The first and last lines of a Haiku have 5 syllables and the middle line has 7 syllables. The lines rarely rhyme.

One observation. This was a bumper year for tight ends. Where are they?
