I'm sure his deal is not some mega-contract. And there will be more cap space available once Amendola restructures or gets cut.

Seriously, "only having $34 million left" is a problem 2/3 of the teams in the NFL would love to have.

How do you even know how much cap space we have left if Gilmore's contract is not even filed yet ? For all we know his cap hit in year 1 could be below 10m.

If I remember correctly Tennessee has a similar situation in terms of taxes for athletes as Florida does. So it's not even like Miami could use that to their advantage in a bidding war with the Titans.

Sounds to me like either we match whatever the Titans end up offering or he stays home in Tennessee.

There really is nothing left on the CB market that can plug the hole Bouye left behind. Might redirect some of that money into Romo and hope for the best in the draft to fix their CB issue.
