OT: Barcelona complete stunning six-goal comeback against PSG

Not sure how many soccer fans here, but they did one of the greatest comebacks in soccer history.

PSG coming into game 2 had an advantage of 4 goals.
They blew it.
PSG scored 1 goal, but they let the other team score 6 goals so they lost!

Biggest choke job in soccer history, just like the Falcons!

Here is the highlights from YouTube (Fox Sports)

No commentary in the Fox sports, but who needs commentary.

Also the Patriots just tweeted at FC Barcelona few hours ago:

OT - Barca says high to the miracle come-back brothers Pats

Hope you don't mind some football-football brotherhood here

Barca needed to overcome 0-4 loss in the first of two eliminatory games of Champions League today. Its almost equivalent to 3-28 in american football. Not many teams - if any - in modern soccer overcame this against a top team like Paris SG. Barca won 6-1.

(note: after going up 3-0 Barca was one goal away to tie it. after PSG scored to 3-1 Barca needed 3 more goals to win overall by rule of away goal being worth more..)

From one miracle come-backer to another:

Some highlights for those interested.. I found this one with ITA commentary

That was robbery

Whoa!!
I had given them up for dead!! Reminds me of Liverpool/AC Milan championship final

Well there were some questionable penalty kicks, but PSG played just like the Falcons in the 2nd half, they played not to lose.

1st PK yes, but not he second.

Assuming a goal = 2 TDs in football, this would be like the Patriots being down 56-0 with 60 minutes left to go.

Not sure which I'd prefer, down 28-3 with 17 minutes, or 56-0 with 60.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

PSG played like it didn't belong with the big boys. Nasser has spent Billions on that team, but you can't buy greatness.

Neymar also outplayed Messi. If he ever leaves, I bet he wins Balon D'or in less than 3 years. He'll never do it if he continues to be Messi's assistant.

The second penalty was utter BS. Marquinos literally touched Suarez and he collapsed. The judge was completely overwhelmed for 90 minutes. Doesn't excuse PSG, though

Utterly embarassing, The Juventus loss to bayernI think last year was bad too. This was worse. I think Juve is going to win it this year

Italian football is in a bad state compared to other ones. Although Juve is the best one, I don't see them being better than Real, Barça, Man C, Bayern... They more in the Borussia level IMO

IMO comeback happens in a game. if PSG had 5-0 lead and blew it and lost 5-6 then it probably would've been the greatest comeback in the history of the sports. but it seems like that's not the case here. maybe barcelona is that much better than them. it would like alabama playing citadel and citadel gets 50pts in advance.

Was hoping Arsenal could have done something similar.

You can always count on PSG to find a way to **** up.

not a soccer fan...but that was wow

Warriors blew a 3-1 lead.
Falcons blew a 28-3 lead.
PSG blew a 5-0 lead

Rangers blew a 2-1 lead

Barca to qualify was 15/2 or better at most bookmakers, easy money

Should it have been mentioned on Fox sports?

Was it a big playoff game or for the world championship or just a regular season game?

If it was just a regular season game, it's not that big of a deal compared to what the Patriots pulled off

It was a playoff game in the most important and prestigious club futbol tournament. For the rest of the world this will be the comeback of the year and deservedly so.
