My daughter got married that day. I had a brand new thingy called a TiVo. We recorded the game and after the wedding and reception we went home and were so wired that we watched the game. Epic.

I can't watch it from this computer but I'm sure you are referring to the "Immaculate Reception-like" play in which Troy Brown caught a pass intended for David Patten and took it to the house.

This one has a different feel, but do you guys remember a late 90's game in which Dave Meggett 'intercepted' a throw to Troy Brown and took it to the house? I say intercepted b/c Bledose was clearly throwing to Brown but Meggett cut it off and took it the distance.

Patten in 2001. He was knocked out but one arm was touching the sideline and the other the ball so he was out of bounds and no fumble.

That's one of the reasons why the 2001 season and SB36 is still my favorite. It was just magical.

Play-offs delayed due to 9/11. Had tickets to Blueman Group same night as the Pats/Raiders game. After the show we get into the bar to check the score. TV reception looks like it was outside! Get on the pike, jump off Exit 11 in Millbury and swing into Liberty Heights! Game is on and so is Karoake. They shut it down so we all, 75 or so, could enjoy the game. Brady fumbles, ruled a tuck, celebration all around.
