I'll definitely have to dig into his game more. Thanks for the comment!
Apologies I'm pretty behind with this project. I probably will have more time after the Combine. Work & personal stuff has me pretty tied up for the rest of the month.
Chicago trade to few spots down and then trade for Jimmy. And Pats take Solomon Thomas. Is he that good, around 8-10 first round pick?Solomon Thomas.

Thank you. I agree with Fletcher, that your reports are as good as they get. Please take your time. Your time and effort is much appreciated.I'll definitely have to dig into his game more. Thanks for the comment!

Soloman Thomas could be another Trey Flowers.

A bigger, more athletic and powerful version, with shorter arms.
I would take that every day of the week.
He'll be top 5 on my Pats big board ahead of Jon Allen.
Don't have an order yet, but Garrett, Thomas, Lattimore, J Adams and Hooker are my top 5 for the Pats.
Mine too. I like Allen a lot, but the lack of athleticsm will eventually be an issue, and the shoulder surgeries are a concern.
Him and Barnett I find very similar actually. They are the best two technicians in the draft for the defensive front positions, but lack of ideal length and athleticsm will hurt them. Barnett at least has age on his side and time to work on his hips and explosion. Allen is pretty close to a finished product.
Allen reminds me of Shaun Ellis.
He will be a solid player.
At first Solomon Thomas was my favorite, but boy that Malik McDowell could be something. 20 years old. Huge upside. He should add around 30 lbs and he would be like Armon Armstead. One year proper coaching...And lastly I watched Malik McDowell. I know to start the year he was a potential top 10 pick but now it seems like he can even drop to the second round. But when I looked at him it seems as if he relies heavily on his explosiveness and his speed to beat his man. But he is only 20 years old so hopefully he will learn to use his hands to his advantage once he gets drafted. It also seems to me at least that he is pretty light, I'm hoping he can pick up weight as well. But I do like his upside overall. I wouldn't mind the pats taking one of these players when the time comes. Hopefully someone finds this useful.

My big concern with McDowell is that he had a terrible reputation with his coaches. They had to beg and cajole him to practice. Word is that he's a me-first type of player who doesn't take well to hard to coaching. Physically, he could be an absolute monster. Mentally / emotionally? I'm not sure the Patriots are the right team for him.
So chance that he is Easley 2. Too badMy big concern with McDowell is that he had a terrible reputation with his coaches.
I would like to hear your take on Jarron Jones, Notre Dame. He reminds me of Akiem Hicks. At the college level, he seems to be the most dominating DL at the line of scrimmage. He drives the OL back to collapse pocket; maintains balance; takes on double team and shread blocks to make tackles. He doesn't have huge tackle and sack numbers and that is probably why he is under the rader.
