I was just watching NFL Network and they were doing an ad spot for "NFL Withdrawal Weekend" and the only highlights they showed were the Tyree and Manningham catches. I mean, the pettiness from the league is still in full force. It doesn't bother me anymore though. I just finid it funny at this point. Nothing can wipe the grin off my face after SB51.

The Patriots just won their 2nd Super Bowl in 3 seasons. Do we really need to be such whiny *****es about every perceived slight, no matter how insignificant, to the team or its players?

Just noting the continued pettiness of the NFL. I find it humorous at this point

Sticky! The one side effect of Deflategate that may never subside is how sensitive the fan base has generally become.

You're claiming something as petty, when it might have been done with no intent at all. It makes perfect sense, without regard to pettiness, to run those highlights when you're going to be showing all the Patriots SBs.

Ok but then the NFLN's twitter header is of Brady and Tom hugging. The NFL and NFLN twitter accounts have repeated referred to Brady as the GOAT. The NFLN coverage, other than Deion crying about ATL not getting the ball in OT, was nothing but one long Patriots' circlejerk.

There's bias against us - primarily in the NFL offices - but you're reading a slight where there is probably not one intended.

If you really think that cutting an ad with just Tyree and Manningham's catches was unintentional I have a bridge to sell you. I was just noting it. I even said in the original post "I just find it funny at this point." Wow, didn't know I was going to get attacked for pointing it out. Jeeze

They even advertised that they were airing all the Patriots SB's this weekend, including those two.

I really hate that deflategate turned a big chunk of this forum into tin foil hat types.

They can keep throwing all the hatorade they want, it just falls right off now, none of it sticks after that last Super Bowl. I even like it now. This kind of stuff makes me smile instead of get outraged because it's so pathetic. Pick away all you want, Brady has defined himself as the GOAT no questions asked, despite all of Goodell's efforts. This was an absolute, total defeat for the league, and stuff like this tastes of salty tears from little losers.

It's like Alford posting about his pick 6 while losing the game. You think you win a battle, but you lose the war, and you know it, so all you can hang onto is that one little bright spot. But that little bright spot is outshone by the sun that is Brady, the center of the NFL universe. Goody and all the little *****es at the NFL Network can keep running this ****, but every single time, it's a reminder of their absolute, epic failure.

You're not getting attacked you're getting debated.

They're showing all 7 Brady SB today and, I think, all 5 Brady wins again tomorrow. It's all good.

Yep, SB 36 starts at 11:30. That's better than any commercial.

"The NFL is trolling the Patriots by playing their two Super Bowl losses along with their five Super Bowls wins! And how dare they show hugely important, wildly famous, highlights as commercial hooks!"/Overly sensitive Patriots fans

I guess Goodell didn't get the message with the footballs nailed to the pole outside his Maine home. Does anyone on the forum own horses? If so I'd like to borrow one of their heads for roughly 4 days. Thanks in advance.

I could give two ****s. We won in the end. That rat had to give us the trophy and he got booed. I need to get me that clown shirt lol.

THis will haunt Goddy forever with this fan base, he should get his house in Oregon, they don't have an NFL team.

Now, see, this (open, honest hostility) I'm all for, as a general approach, though perhaps not as a literal Godfather-level reenactment. We should never forget, or forgive, when it comes to Goodell.

In that sense, let us be the petty ones. Because GFY Rodger.

Every time I turn on NFL network this week they have been slobering all over the patriots.

Pretty much everyone has.

We won. They lost.

We still hate The Poison Ginger.

And that will be the way of things.

So let it be written, so let it be done.
