Hi,

So obviously there are some major injury concerns heading into this game with Chris Hogan, Malcolm Mitchell, Danny Amendola, and Martellus Bennett all listed as questionable.

Are there any news tidbits that you have heard that who (if any) of that group will be able to give it a go tonight?

Edit: Good catch....originally had listed Michael Bennett instead of Martellus Bennett

The receivers are all good to go according to Reiss (posted in the Pregame thread).

Michael Bennett is going to be eating nachos and drinking beer today.

Can't believe I'm saying this but I think in terms of overall health, DA might be the healthiest and Bennett being the most banged up.

I think Mitchell and Hogan are healthy enough to play but I do wonder if was an October game BB might have them rest another week.

I definitely get the feeling that in the regular season, Mitchell would sit and Hogan would see limited action, but I can't quantify it. It's just a hunch.

Martysaurus has been a legit iron man this year, playing through what I'm thinking is much worse pain than we're being led to believe.

Got a feeling that some players in some situations would end up on IR with whatever Marty has.

Well, your post proved to be on point.

I'm curious about how many players have the flu all around. We know Rodgers and Jordy Nelson have the flu which means more Packers probably have it. They said 15 Steelers had the flu a few days ago, there is no way they are all feeling well and/or more people don't have it. We know Blount had the flu last week against the Texans, do any more Patriots have it? This years flu is bad, I don't care what you take and how much fluid they can pump in you this well affect some players, especially those who have to suck wind.

It's almost impossible to know the full extent of what each guy is experiencing - with the exception of Bennett, given that report. Last season in the AFCCG, we had no idea just how beat up the entire offense was. Hopefully they're all healthy enough to be effective and to execute the gameplan.

We'll find out soon enough.

If they truly had the flu they wouldnt be practicing, it can take a week to get back. Probably had an upset stomach.

Yeah there is a big difference between influenza and "stomach flu" which isn't the flu at all, more likely norovirus or some bacteria.

Or what Collins had last year

Mitchell is warming up. Bennett played with whatever knee last week and ankle all season. He'll be out there if there's an earthquake. Outside of one report, Hogan could have reentered game. Don't see a thigh bruise stopping him.

I'm guessing Amendola starts over Floyd due to dependability. Floyd was shaky.
