My feeling about the refs is basically they are what they are. They miss some calls and get some wrong. It's not likely to change. I never get very excited about it and don't blame it for a loss. A team has to overcome it and win anyway. Bad calls go both ways.
I didn't think it was particularly bad tonight. At least they called Offensive PI on the opposing team. You don't see that call too often And they still have all season (usually later in the season) to start the lop sided "officiating". Of course no one believed NBA officials would be corrupt either.
Also, they didn't get the clock right after the 1st down was over-turned with less than 2 min left. They left it at 1:16. Which was where it stopped after the Pats failed to get the play off before the review judge got the buzz down to the ref.
In was amazed by the zebra who had his nose pratcically under Stallworths armpit in the EZ while the panthers DB was riding his shoulder pads the whole way.
Stallworth looked puzzled and Brady gave him (the zebra) a mouthful.

WHat is with not signalling a TD until about 10 seconds after the fact? Somebody is always flying around still trying to make a play. Do they blow a whistle? That is a good way for somebody to take an unnesassry late hit.
Were they perfect? No. Were they lousy? Not at all.
I recommend you just come to terms with the fact that refs aren't perfect. Feel free to get upset about truly bad calls but let most of them go. Life's too short to get worked up about everything.
Personally, I think that the Refs in general do a great job. Think of the speed of the game and the angle at which the refs see the plays. Think of the sheer number of plays that they ref in a season and think of the small amount of time they screw it up. It seems like they make mistakes often but they stand out more. I mean whens the last time you watched a play with no flags and said the refs had a good play as they called the play right.
