Michael Floyd staying 3 minutes from stadium

Does he have to go to the police station twice a day to do it? What a pain in the arse. He must've been up to some pretty serious shenanigans
No it's on his own... When he blows into the reading goes straight to probation and local pd...

Glad he is currently surrounding himself with family, and good to see him get s place close to the stadium, I think he understands another mess up and it will most likely end his career, when NE dumps you then you really done.

He has the ability to be a pro bowler, he just needs to stay focused, consistent and staying out of trouble, he has the physical body that many wide receivers wish they could have.

I'm sure he also had a long conversation with BB about his past troubles and I'm sure he really understands on what he has to do in order for him to stay here the next few years. He also understand that everyone is replaceable on this team, ask Collins where he at now....

I was kidding. Google Maps has Waltham to Foxboro at 46 minutes right now. Sure, the Texans should have stayed in Foxboro before. O'Brien should have known better.
probably wanted to be out of range from the eavesdropping devices in the Foxboro hotels...

I would imagine it's the Renaissance or the new Hilton.
When I stayed there for Hightower's fundraiser last year the Hilton Garden Inn was still under construction so the Renaissance was the only choice. Very nice, but not cheap. Now that they're both open I'd figure he's in whichever one gave the best hometown discount for a long-term stay. Here's hoping he takes that model and uses it in his contract negotiations.

Globe article
Thanks, I'd like to see that article and will have to do a search for it. The list could be helpful to say the least. I can think of a number of places around central Mass that could provide more DUI subjects, not a tourist trap bar in the middle of a shopping plaza.

They must have hired George Costanza's to be the travelling secretary.

BOB knows better. Just dumb

Do you think that BOB controls the minutia like that? No way. That's someone else's job. He tells them to get it set up and then get's on the plane and bus..

@MikeReiss
Michael Floyd talks about how he is staying 3 minutes from stadium, helping him stay focused.

@MarkDanielsPJ
Floyd said there are less distractions here in Foxboro. "I feel welcomed."

This guy is going to be a beast next year on a one year deal (and hopefully this year's playoffs too).

good.....short drive

I think in that instance because it was a logistical clusterf__k he did not. I think this time he is.

Just like here. BB will leave it up to the people that do travel coordination for a living handle it but if it turns into a mess for the team he'll ask questions and if he finds a f-up he'll ask changes to be mode.

His Uber driver called EEI the other morning. Was totally credible. He said he has picked up Floyd several times in one of two locations. Either at the Stadium or at the Renaissance. He said Floyd trips are mostly quick trips to Starbucks or local shopping areas. When he picks him up at the stadium he brings him back to the Renaissance and when he picks him up at the Renaissance, its back to the hotel. He said he was an excellent tipper and a really nice guy.

Im waiting for Roger to suspend him next week, and I am shocked he hasnt done it yet.

Why can't someone else blow into it?

Least he didn't put them up in that Ramada in Milwaukee.

What I can tell from Floyd in his interviews and quotes is he has a more positive outlook. Hopefully change in scenery, buyin into 'Pats Way' has rubbed off on him and this can be a Win-Win for both. We seen it in play and how he was his determined to score, especially when he Smoked Lippett to send JE off for his TD. Some guys might of just given up on that play. Hopefully this works out for him getting his life back on track.

There not going to carry a 7.9 mil cap hit (4th highest on team) for a 23 catch, 31-yr old WR, that's for sure. Spread that over this year and next.....OK. Still overpaid but he can still play. No way he gets a 6 mil salary this year.
Can't see any chance amendola is back next year unless they tear it up and pay him something like 1 mill

Why can't someone else blow into it?
DNA based is my guess. OTOH, I know someone who needs to do this to drive. This person's irresponsible child wanted to use the car while drunk and blew into it. Guess who got the blame.
