looks like one of big al's big gay boat rides.
What happened to just smiling for a picture?

Is that a pose or a posse?

I'm glad selfie sticks are going to be outlawed

Jeans and boots on a boat in Miami in the sun. That is my biggest beef here. It's not practical...What if the boat starts to sink? Too heavy of clothes.

my take from that photo is that tattoos are disgusting

If they were taking Adderal which actually can be a performance enhancing drug on the day you take it.. it also causes you to crash and can take a couple days for your body to fully recover. The great thing about Adderal for NFL players is that its out of your urine in 24 hours. Its the opposite of weed which stays in your system for weeks to a month.

Save the Aderal for gameday.

Did you ever notice Reche Caldwells eyes? He was taking Adderal lol.. and then he got busted with a bunch of Extacy from China which he ordered online.. and the cops delivered it to him.

A whole different level of what? Ditch the vague dog whistles and just say what you're trying really hard to imply.

I think he's trying to say that @Patjew and you are not black enough to qualify as a thug.

Weed has been a normal thing that most Americans have partaken in for 50+ years now. Anyone who still thinks the presence of weed indicates that you're dealing with a hardened criminal is making no effort to operate in reality.

I assume it's just an open secret that most NFL players smoke it regularly, and I figure it's just a can of worms that the NFL doesn't want to open publicly. But their policies around drug testing make it pretty clear that the NFL is just in it for the plausible deniability of having a system in which all but the too-dumb-to-live can figure it out and pass without actually having to abstain.
Totally agree. Pot=Alcohol

Ok, so let's approach this from a slightly different angle. When these guys roll up to the Kentucky Derby, what do you think?:

Keep in mind, one of the guys in their group (Welker) is clearly under the influence of MDMA, and their ringleader's (Brady) bodyguards were convicted of attempted murder a few years ago.

Clearly a bunch of thug professional athletes, right? If not, how is this different?

The difference is obvious. Airplane culture vs boat culture.

Even 20 somethings don't like selfie sticks meatface

I really don't like calling you meatface, so what do suggest meatface?

Do you own a selfie stick meatface?
i was actually given a selfie stick a few years ago as a gag gift but I have no idea where it is, why do old people hate selfie sticks so much? It doesnt seem like that big of a thing, do they hate people with long arms too?

I get it, but to clarify it was... Drug life. Not thug life.

And sadly neither anymore. These days it's more like the Cabernet life.
Same thing.

It's a narcissism thing.

I'm not old dude!

I view myself as cool as any 20 something year old....because I am

I don't care for selfie sticks because I'm not a fan of people that post everything about their life as if others care

I have a buddy that posts a pic every time he goes out for dinner or takes a vacation.

"How is this different"????????? Ummmmm......

The Kentucky Derby is in early May.

The NFL season is between September and February.

Other than those small details, yeah, this is exactly the same thing.

Did you read the post I was quoting? You missed the point about as hard as it can be missed, because he wasn't objecting to the timing of it at all. That wasn't what was being discussed. His claim was that wherever you see a group of professional athletes and there are drugs present, there's probably guns and associated criminal behavior alongside them because they must be thugs. Basically, he was working backward to try to justify his claim that the Giants' receivers aren't just doing a pretty poor job of preparing for this weekend's games, but furthermore that they must be a bunch of thugs. The timing of it was never mentioned as part of this conclusion that he reached. So I pointed out that by the very same criteria that he claimed he was using, Brady and Welker must be thugs as well. Either that or there was some additional criteria that he was using that he hadn't mentioned up to that point.

Seriously, it's a real issue with this forum. The number of people who completely the ignore the context of a post, to the point of deliberately misreading it, and then go and grandstand with a reply that emphatically states some self-evident point that nobody ever argued against in the first place, is just ridiculous. And I'm not claiming innocence, I know I've done it before, and didn't even realize I was doing it until I went back later and reread the posts that led up to the post I was quoting. I dunno if it's a product of reading comprehension, impatience, or just some lame desire to virtue signal, or what, but it doesn't really accomplish anything. Either take 30 seconds to read the post someone's replying to and understand the actual comparison they're making, or just don't comment if you aren't willing to invest those 30 seconds . Either option is fine.

Not specifically directed at you, but I think you're the fourth person to reply with this exact same argument, making it clear that you didn't read any of the quoted posts in that exchange. And once you spot it happening and look out for it, it becomes clear that this happens in just about every thread. And everyone gets super indignant when it's done to them, then a few hours later you'll see them doing the same exact thing to someone else. ****, I'm sure I've done it.

In short: if a few hours from now you make some post observing that Malcolm Mitchell's hands are at least as good as Edelman's and maybe better, and someone replies "lol idiot you seriously think Mitchel >> Edelman?? Dumb!" I'm betting you'll facepalm just as hard as I am right now.

I don't know why you geezers care so much, its not like they missed practice or anything. They went to the beach and the club, who cares?
