Secondary wasn't as good in '10.
Patriots OL is playing much better, they have a solid running game, and a number of passing targets. Oh, and the defense is playing well.

I guess that is the point of the article . Not just team comparisons. all the issues about the young team/bad defense/bad secondary were not ever considered by anyone including in the media when the pats faced the jets after beating them 45-3 at home a few weeks earlier. people thought pats were going to win it all in 2010 and after the loss we now point to all the issues with the team. So who knows what other things our current team will get exposed of which everyone seems to conveniently ignore ? hopefully nothing enough to stop them.Not the best comparison, but at the least it's a reminder that there are no guarantees come playoff time, and I'm sure the vets from back then can hammer it home.
