Not only did we witness the impact that Michael Floyd will have in our playoff run, we saw a KC win and an Oakland loss which equates to a fairly easy Round One weekend (Oakland/Houston) winner and in addition we see that the Steelers will have to win IN Kansas City. Not easy. For us to be able to avoid a Pitt AFCCG game is gold...

Pitt or KC will be a tough AFCC matchup. These teams are good teams, KC is more defensive orientated and Pitt is more Offensive orientated. New England is more balanced than both of the 2 AFC contenders. If we don't make it to the Super Bowl it will be a massive failure and disappointment.

Correct. The Patriots scenario improves even more if the Dolphins upset the Steelers next weekend.

i think a game against the steelers would be significantly easier than KC

There are no certainties. But there is no questions the trio of OAK/HOU/MIA pose no threat in two weeks. The AFCCG would be more challenging. But I like the way NE is trending.

So its offcial, our first game is either going to have Connor Cook (Rookie) Brock Osweiler (Playing like a rookie) Matt McGloin, or Matt More at Quarterback. None of those players are starting calivpber Quarterbacks

yes. Also, it is no longer possible for us to play BOTH Pitt and KC. It will be one or the other. The way things fell in the other games is HUGE.

Don't pencil the Steelers in yet - so if Houston beats Oakland, which is very possible, the Pats could get Miami in the Divisional Round.

Imagine if Miami beat Pitt and then Oakland or Houston beat KC, That would be the easiest road to a superbowl ever. No excuses

Only thing that gives me the slightest pause in the AFC is the Chiefs short-passing game, which I think is the Pats' weakest defensive point (and today proves again that the refs won't call pick plays against the Pats D).

not really. If they beat the Steelers, we get the Dolphins which is not easier than Oak/Houston. And KC will get an easy Divisional game at Arrowhead. (But at least the Steelers are gone that way though)

Be ready to hear the buzz word "tomato can" be thrown around a lot for the next 2 weeks.
or...

it's a TRAP!

I agree. The emergence of Tyreek Hill makes the Chiefs a dangerous team.

Oakland Houston are not beating anybody any time soon.

Things landed perfectly for the Pats today.

As soon as Carr went down I saw the seedings form. The Steelers are not losing to Miami at home. So its either Houston or Oakland. What a horrible game it might be competitive though lol.. The AFC playoffs are gonna be **** this season.

Miami Steelers... not really a great game
Houston Oakland .. another bad game

Texans vs Patriots.. a laugher

KC vs Pitt - thats a good game.

AFCC should be a good/decent game.
