Patriots schedule of 2017 quarterbacks is much more difficult than in 2016

While injuries can always happen, the Patriots should face a more difficult stretch of quarterbacks in 2017. Based on the Patriots schedule, they will face Falcons QB Matt Ryan, Saints QB Drew Brees, Raiders QB Derek Carr, and Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger, all of whom rank in the top 12 of the NFL in passer rating. Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill should be healthy and he ranks 13th.

Add in Chiefs QB Alex Smith and maybe even Bills QB Tyrod Taylor, if he returns, and over half of the Patriots opposing quarterbacks in 2017 should feature a current passer rating over the league average of 88.6.

I trust BB in the regard that he fields a highly competitive team that can win against all those teams. Look what he did in 2014. We played a lot of very good offenses that season, so he went out and got Revis. With the big amount of capspace we have for the 2017 season, i have a good feeling about this.

I'm on my 3rd page of this post and no one's doom and gloomed a 8-8 season yet! you guys are slipping

I'm wondering: has Tom ever played at Tampa? Because back in 09 was a London game.
Brady has played in Tampa for a few preseason games, but this will be the first time in the regular season.

Last time the Patriots played a real game in Tampa was the first season that the Bucs started playing well with Brooks, Lynch and Sapp, late 90's. Pats were shut out until a garbage time score at the end of the game.

Out of town Patriot fans have had to make an annual road trip to Miami to see the Pats; it's usually about 1/3 Patriot fans at those games.

Patriots 2017 schedule includes six 16' playoff teams:

Miami (x2)
Kansas City
Oakland
Atlanta
Houston
Pittsburgh

And two other opponents (Carolina and Denver) were in the Super Bowl in 2015.

Woof!

I hope Bill's able to keep as much of this core as possible, and makes upgrades where ever they're needed
