so here we have yet another case of a media person guessing on the severity of an injury (saying it was a torn ACL), tweeting the "news" in order to be FIRST, and then later hoping that we will forget that he was WRONG.

It's not fake or wrong news but as always in this day and age people that don't know what they are talking about are just assuming the media was wrong.
Tannehill still has an ACL tear, Gase can call it a sprain as much as he wants it doesn't make it less of a tear. Now how severe that ACL tear is we don't know but either way he will most probably sit out the rest of the season.
Now, what most probably happened is that the Dolphins medical staff did a lachman test on the field and most likely identified that the ACL didn't provide enough stability for the knee. And that is crucial because it is almost irrelevant what the MRI shows.. if the ACL is too damaged to provide stability to the knee then you are screwed.
So, no.. the reports so far have been particularly wrong.
Nope, this is along the lines of a mistake, fake news is truly insidious and spells total disaster for any society that wants to function honestly. People who spread fake news are total scumbags.
