Yeah, most likely he will miss a good chunk of next season, might even be done for next season.

Barring a set back he will be ready Week 1. Set backs aren't uncommon but "most likely" is way over stating his situation.

Good. I'm ecstatic that he's done for the season.

Feck him and feck the Doofins, aka the 2nd-luckiest team besides the Loins in football.

They're a 5-8 team that has no feckin business whatsofeckinever being 8-5. None. Zero.

Feck him, feck them, and feck their fans. Feck'em all.

Maybe now Bill will find a way to finally not feck-up a game down there, for once.

Oh that really sucks for him, Fins very well might still go to the playoffs but they would basically need the Broncos to lose their last three games.

Judging by what the Broncos put out there today this may actually happen

I feel bad for Tannehill. You finally break through to have a chance on a perennial outsider team and now this. By all accounts he is a decent guy in the community as well. Hope he recovers fully.

After what he did to our defense in the second half of the first game I was not looking forward to heading down there if this last game held weight.

The timing is indeed comlicated, He Will have to wait 2-4 weeks to have surgery and then 9 months of recovery. For a QB that does not run a lot I think he can come back maybe in week 5. For players that needs to burst like receivers, CBS, RBS , its worse but QBs return earlier.

Maybe it's not the worst thing in the world for Miami...

It doesn't look like there's any air that football. Mods, please merge with Giants Accuse Steelers of Deflating Footballs thread.

Since this happened in two states, and we see a clear pattern of NFL teams deflating footballs, the RICO statutes apply, right?

Was it a clean hit?

No. It was the typical (act like you were tripped up and go low with your shoulder into the QB's knee) type of hit that we see too often.

Never been a Tannerhill fan, and worse for him my Dolphins fans friends do not like him either...

But listening to the announcers yesterday this team will be just as good with Moore at QB...

You know if this actually happened, it would end with Brady getting suspended 4 games for general awareness blah blah blah...

He must have been thinking of his wife at the time.

Scottish Dude: Where's me Fork -n- knife?

Scottish Dude's wife: On Your Forken plate.

He must have been thinking of his wife at the time.

Obviously, she loves him for more than his football talent.

But what does it say if he's thinking about her, then throws a soft backwards fumble of a pass? Shouldn't it be a deep long bomb into the end zone?

Wait, am I getting banned?

I was think of his early release.

Sucks.
The average NFL player's career is a little over three seasons on average.
Best wishes to him for a complete recovery.
