Do we think Gronk is done?

Why would he be done? He is still only 27. He will never be consistently healthy, but he could have a couple of seasons where he is healthy during the playoffs. Heck, I would consider sitting him throughout the year and only play him in January, he is that valuable for the team. Very likely the GOAT player at his position when healthy.

And I was very clear that any spine surgery is serious. I had a spine fusion and know very well how debilitating they can be.
wow. sorry to hear that. Spine fusion means the career is over. Sorry to hear you had to have that done.

It's not over for Gronk, no way in hell. He is young and tough and will bounce back just like he always has. Plus he has access to the best medical care and rehab facilities and he is determined to play again.
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? haha

His career may not be over but I dont think he can be counted on for more than 10 games ever again

Another **** post from you

In 7 seasons Gronk has played in less than 10 games only twice in his career, this being the 2nd time. In the other 5 seasons

2010- 17 games played (would have played in more but Pats lost in the divisional game)

2011- 18 games played (doesn't include the SB)

2012- 11 games

2014- 19 games

2015- 17 games (missed 1 game and would have played in the SB if Pats won the AFCC)

in each of those seasons you list there were anywhere from 2-4 games in which the team "managed" him and used him as a decoy, played him in a small comparative # of snaps, or limited his route running...its usually par the course for Gronkowski to get hurt, miss a game or two, then come back and play in limited capacity for a game or two...now run along and go check his snap count in games after his return from injury...guy comes back but is nowhere near the same player for a game or two

Thanks, I had to stop doing some of the crazier sh.t but I still get to live normally.

It's become a common refrain but Gronk really would be best served by adopting Brady's approach to working out, greater pliability and flexibility would really help him.

I didn't want to get started on this. He's a great player for a maximum of ten games a year. I think he's got maybe 2- 3 years left. He needs to think of living a normal life. He's the Gale Sayers of tight ends

I'm sure Tom tries to get him on board

I don't think he's done after this surgery as I believe he'll avoid a fusion, but if he reinjures one of his already operated on discs, we should get warmed up to the idea of fusion surgery and the end of his career.

Crossing my fingers that scenario is several years away. I selfishly enjoy watching him play.

Regards,
Chris
