i would consider Hightower. Leader of the defense and constant on the front 7.

I almost did a offense and defense MVP but that wasn't the question so I limited to one. But Hightower would be my defensive pick.

Blount has been a beast too and being able to do what he has changed our offense.

its an interesting question something i have thought about along those lines this week.Which are the players you would build around for the next 5-10 yrs like cornerstone players? Scary that i couldnt come up with many except maybe hightower and butler.

Serious sub-question: Is RB our strongest unit?

Too close to call between Blount, Hightower, and Butler. We'd take a huge hit without either of those 3.

Yea thats where my head is at. Those 3 are are critical.

Moving forward I think JE11s role will become even more important.

That's tough, obviously TE would have been at the top of the list prior to Gronk going to IR. I would say its a toss up between RB and WR. I would lean RB but only slightly. Jules, Hogan and an evolving Mitchel are excellent for this offense.

Difficult, Blount or Edelman

I agree Hightower for D

Don't forget Chandler Jones and Jamie Collins.
