This D is bad.

Not even winning the superbowl can change that narrative. It's really tucking bad.

And I'm really getting frustrated on the lack of defensive turnovers. Christ

This defense is horrible and the LBs can't cover, just aswell we traded Collins.

Anyone else thankful we can't see Elliott until at least Feb.

Niners look good.

Pretty sure the only offensive drives NE has had thwarted the past two weeks have been self-inflicted. Untimely penalties and mental errors.
So what about that 1Q goal line stand?

Once again it looks like the weakness of the D is backs out of the backfield and TE's coming accross the field short. Offenses are targeting the LB's on both these throws.

BTW- I love the kid to death, but Roberts looks lost in coverage

Do the Patriots defenders study the defense? Why is there at least one blown coverage every drive?

Yards can be allowed. Just cut down on allowing the TD's

It's rather remarkable how easily this D can be had with simple formations and plays. WTF has happened to this group? It's like watching a horrible regression unfold before our very eyes.

Shea McClellin has no business ever being on the field, Bill needs to get his head out his ass, that guy is HORRIBLE

Road game agaisnt a desperate team in the NFL....folks gotta chill it will be ok.

He isn't the biggest guy for sure, but Mingo is likely a better fit for some of these coverages against RBs/TEs. We need some athleticism.

Even when the D does make a good play they just don't care. Contrast that with the offense that has an RB core that seem like they're best friends and everyone geeking out on a good pass play/TD.

Do you really think that the Pats didn't give Collins a chance to get his head on straight and focused? Clearly don't know this team+

Fair enough. You're likely correct about that.

I think the bit about questioning my knowledge of the team is tad condescending (and inaccurate).

Automatic.
