I was skeptical that it was a leg injury, definitely a concussion.

I feel for the guy, after this scary event I think it's time for him to really sit down with his family and think about his future. I've had friends in high school that got concussion in football and it was horrible to see them recovering from it, took them weeks.

Yup. But that's not dirty that just doing something and hoping to not get called for it.

His playing career may be over. That why he was so emotional. I have no basis for this statement other than his prior concussion history and the look on his face. Maybe his doctors had already told him one more and you are done.

I hope he is okay.

It didn't really look like the type of hit that would cause a concussion, but I don't know. It sure looked like, from his reaction, that he was thinking his career could be over. Have they released a statement yet? Hopefully it's not major.
